Built in the late 1800s, the 2 story wood frame structure was hastily renovated and sat vacant for five years before the homeowners purchased the house. Both floor structures had a severe slope to the rear wall, requiring reinforcement prior to construction of the rear yard addition. The first floor consisted of a separated living room and kitchen, with mechanical equipment and a washer/dryer awkwardly exposed. The second floor consisted of two bedrooms and a hall bathroom.
